England retained the Women’s Six Nations title in style with a convincing 42-21 victory over 14-player France in Bordeaux.

Lightning trio Sadia Kabeya, Emily Scarratt, and Helena Rowland all played a vital role as the Red Roses secured an unprecedented third consecutive Six Nations Grand Slam and sixth straight title.

In beating France, England extended their championship-winning record to 29 games as their dominance in the sport continues.

Elsewhere, Scotland finished a respectable fourth with Lightning players Rachel Malcolm, Helen Nelson, Christine Belisile, Chloe Rollie, and Emma Wassell all winning caps throughout the campaign.

Lightning were also well represented in England’s U20’s team versus France, with six players participating for the Red Roses.
